1. About this policy

This policy explains how Crocolab Art ("we", "us" or "our") handles information in our applications for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and other Apple platforms that link to this policy.

For privacy questions or requests, contact crocolab.art@gmail.com.

2. Your content and device permissions

Our apps are designed to process and store your content primarily on your device. We do not upload your content to our own servers or include it in usage analytics. Content may leave your device when you use iCloud, import from a cloud service, or choose to export or share it.

When a feature requires access to device resources, the app requests the relevant permission. You can manage permissions in your device settings. Restricting access may affect the related feature.

3. iCloud and CloudKit

Our apps may use Apple iCloud and CloudKit to store app data and synchronize it across your devices. When these features are in use, relevant data is transferred to iCloud associated with your Apple Account.

Data stored in your private CloudKit database is associated with your account and is not visible to us through the CloudKit developer console. Apple manages the iCloud infrastructure and its security protections. iCloud use is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can manage an app's iCloud access and stored data using the available app and Apple account or device controls. Turning off synchronization does not necessarily delete copies already stored in iCloud.

4. Usage analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand usage and improve our apps. Depending on the app, analytics may include interactions and technical context such as app version, operating system, device model, language and approximate region. Analytics can be associated with an app installation identifier. We do not use your name or email address to identify you in analytics, and we do not include your recordings, media files or their contents in analytics events.

Where an app reports purchase activity to analytics, this may include the product purchased, amount, currency, quantity and subscription information. These reports help us understand purchase flows. Apple handles payments; we do not receive your payment card details.

Google receives and processes analytics information through its service. For more information, see Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Your analytics choice

You can turn off analytics collection in the app's settings at any time without losing access to its core features. Turning it off stops future analytics collection by the app; it does not automatically delete information already received by Google.

Where consent is required, we request it before collecting analytics. You can withdraw that consent using the same analytics setting.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

Apps may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions through the App Store. Available features, prices and subscription periods are displayed before purchase.

Apple handles payments, subscription billing and refund requests under its applicable terms. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings. We do not receive your payment card details. Apps may use purchase and entitlement information supplied by Apple to enable paid features and restore eligible purchases.

Some apps also report confirmed purchases to Firebase Analytics when analytics is enabled. This is separate from Apple’s payment processing and from the checks needed to provide purchased access. Disabling analytics in an app does not remove an existing purchase or subscription.

See Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Use of our App Store apps is governed by Apple's Standard EULA, unless a different license is expressly provided.

7. When you contact us

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, such as your message, app and device details, and attachments. We use this information to respond, provide support and resolve your request. Please avoid sending personal or sensitive content that is not needed for your request.

8. Service providers and data protection

We use service providers for analytics and email communications. Apple separately provides iCloud and App Store services. These providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence under their applicable privacy terms and safeguards.

We require providers processing personal information on our behalf to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information we handle, but no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

9. Storage and deletion

On-device and iCloud content. Content remains subject to the app's storage controls, your deletion choices and the settings of the services you use. Removing an app does not necessarily remove its iCloud data, backups or exported files. Manage these copies separately through the relevant app or service controls.

Analytics. Analytics information is retained under the retention settings configured for the relevant Google Analytics property and Google's applicable retention and deletion processes. These settings govern event-level and identifier-associated data; aggregated reports may be retained separately. See Google Analytics data retention.

Support correspondence. We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request, related follow-up and applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by contacting us.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority.

To make a request, email crocolab.art@gmail.com. We may need information to verify and fulfil your request. Because we do not link analytics to your email address, we may be unable to locate individual analytics records from your email alone. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
